They are all stainless or stainless with a touch of black on them, so I don't really notice the difference. I also have different brands for all the appliances in my kitchen. I wish I went with a better model, or at least one with a built-in disposal. I replaced a broken higher end Bosch dishwasher with Bosch's cheapest dishwasher they had. If you think you need things soon, ask what is in stock can be delivered soon. I had to wait 3 months to get a washer/dryer set the last time I bought near the holidays. You are looking to buy in the busy season. Edited because I couldn't paste the link without it showing my zip code, but you can google "energy star rebates" and it will pop up. I know a lot of utility companies give small rebates to replace old appliances. You can use the Energystar website to search for rebates. If I get difference companies for everything, wouldn't they all look too different in the kitchen? The thing is that I'm not made of money, so would be looking to spend $2000 or so. That being said, while people like bosch dishwashers, is it worth getting a fridge from them as well? I don't really know much about the reliability of these companies in regards to the difference product categories so I don't know if it's a good idea. I could also install the microwave over the oven and get some MUCH needed space on the already limited countertop. ![]() While the dishwasher is the only thing that NEEDS to be replaced, I figure that while I'm doing that, I may as well replace everything else that's in there. I imagine newer ones would be more energy efficient though. The oven and fridge are old, but still function. ![]() ![]() The dishwasher desperately needs to be replaced (pretty sure it's the original one that was installed when the house was built in 81). Bought a townhouse recently and thinking of how to modernize it a bit.
